While many people may gasp in horror that I would commemorate the state execution of the so-called "American Face of Terror", I do so in recognition that Tim McVeigh was put to death by a government that claims they believe in freedom, yet exterminates one of their citizens for fighting for it; one that professes a belief in peace yet commits the same fatal act they claim to oppose. I'm not saying I condone the Oklahoma City bombing by any means, (and I realize we're talking about the deaths of 168 'innocent' people) but I AM saying that I feel strongly against the actions of any government that commits the crimes that they say they want to prevent.Monday, June 11, 2007
