Remembering Timothy McVeigh

While many people may gasp in horror that I would commemorate the state execution of the so-called "American Face of Terror", I do so in recognition that Tim McVeigh was put to death by a government that claims they believe in freedom, yet exterminates one of their citizens for fighting for it; one that professes a belief in peace yet commits the same fatal act they claim to oppose. I'm not saying I condone the Oklahoma City bombing by any means, (and I realize we're talking about the deaths of 168 'innocent' people) but I AM saying that I feel strongly against the actions of any government that commits the crimes that they say they want to prevent.

Plus, he wrote out one of my favourite poems as his final written statement...
