Home

Life gave me two homes: one where my heart is and one where my mom is. For the first time in a long time I really want to go home to my mom...where she can make me soup with too many carrots in it and paint my bedroom pink to her heart`s content.

  • my mom and i have this weird voice that we talk to each other in and we've been doing it for so long that we can barely remember when it started. It comes out most often when we talk on the phone or go out shopping together (hahaha tess me)
  • when I was 7 my Mom introduced me to the opera 'Madame Butterfly' by Puccini and translated it while it played, which was my very first profound musical experience
  • my brother nicknamed her 'Claudia' in 1992 and continued to call her that for a year until 'Mother' caught on and stuck. We still call her Mother to this day.
