Holy Happy Birthday!

What are the chances of having 3 good friends from your home town that were born on the same day?

Happy Birthday to Nikki (30), Stocco (31), and Kim (28)!!!!

I'm in doubt that either of them will read this. It's been months since I've talked to them, and neither of them even know I have a blog.

So much has changed since our younger years. Nikki became an elementary school teacher, got married and now has 2 beautiful children (Savannah and Noah...the million dollar family). Stocco was engaged to be married the last time I spoke with him. Kim is in a long-term relationship and works for the Mayor of our home-town. But they're all friends that are like family...and no matter how far apart nor how much time has passed, whenever we do get together again, on one level it seems as if no time has passed at all. Perhaps some friendships exist outside of time, indeed.

I thought of you guys today, remembered the good times we shared, felt a warm appreciation for the memory of your presences in my past and thought I would extend my birthday well-wishes into the universe on your behalf.
