...when everything ceases and the internal fire is extinguished...
...when reality floats in crystalline unknowing...
...when existence becomes a quiet, frozen moment that has shifted outside of time...
...when all that ever had meaning becomes lost to the purpose of non-purpose...
when?
now

I feel as though this bit of poetry has said exactly what I have come to think of buddhahood.
M,
Beautiful..
The essence of "Now" well summarized..
When is "Now"?...
Is it "Now" when I am writing this?.. Ooeps, it's already past again!..
:-)
I like this post, beautiful.
whoami...
Thanks for your comments. Very inspiring.
Kalsang...
I am honoured that you think so. That means alot. Thanks. Sometimes I feel that on this path I travel I will lose everything, until I realize that there is really nothing to lose anyway.
Peeps....
Thank you. It was that particular experience of 'now' anyway. We've talked about how life is like the ebbing and flowing of waves, and it seems as if I am constantly flowing in and out of realization. The ways in which I perceive my reality are ever changing...like the tide.
Nothing...
Now is now...there is nothing else. Past and future are mere illusion. :-)
Godknows...
Thank you. I'm glad you like.
THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR COMMENTS :-)
Maybe "Now" is also an illusion... Because you can never experience it!
PS: Hahaa, now I'll ask when is "never"?.. :-)
Nothing...
I will have to disagree with you here. Now is the ONLY thing that can really be experienced. While I will agree that NOW is also an illusion, it is much more real than the past and the future.
Now can only be fully experienced, however, when one is simply being...having no thoughts or judgements about what is arising, and not analyzing either. I forget who said that you cannot analyze something and fully experience it at the same time.
Hope things are good on your side of the ocean. :-)
