In the temples of enigma I bowed before the God and master...that sacred suffering.
I offered my decadent soul in exchange for improbable possibilities...and a pain I knew would come.
I was a witness to the immolation.
But the reverence weighed heavy and the deity was undying.
I bartered for my soul.
As expiation for my iniquities, I was sentenced to obscurity, and all the stygian desire that inducted this divinity as my eternal consort begins its anguished departure.
It is all mine now: the emptiness, the vacuity and the void.

In defeated acceptance I salute this glacial affliction............
...........yet I still burn in the shadow of an illusion.

Wow, i like the way you phrased
the recurrent self-imposed guilt
about desire.

show her to us more often :)

P,
I love how you see the world behind the words.
