Fantasy Life

Ok. Here is a story of my fantasy life.

I live far away from here on a secret island. Only a select few people would know where it was. It has white sandy shores, a vast scattering of palm trees and other trees and plants and flowers. Also on the island are lots of medium sized waterfalls. When standing on one of the island's shores, (and only on one) you can see maybe 2 or 3 other, smaller islands in the distance. On the other shores, all you can see is the horizon. The island has a large area to explore and has green hills and lush valleys.

A little ways in from the shore, surrounded and sheltered by palm trees, is my home. It is simple, but sturdy, and is made mostly out of wood and bamboo. It has a deck that goes half-way around the house. The living room/reading room/library faces the ocean and looks out onto it with an enormous bay window. There is built-in seating on the length of the window, with alot of pillows and cushions. Perfect for reading. My enormous collection of books is kept here and I have several bookshelves that go all the way to the top of the ceiling. There is a waterfall that flows into a beautiful sheltered pond about a 10 minute walk away. Beside the living room is my meditation room, also with cushions placed along the walls, with a shrine for Buddha on a table near one of the windows. My bedroom has a double bed, on a frame that keeps the mattress low to the floor. There are candles everywhere in the house, enough to light the entire house if I needed to, and incense is always burning (Nag Champa, of course...my favourite). Perhaps there is a shack or two in the back of the house, so that I could teach the Dharma and people could come to stay and/or have a solitary retreat.

I am fully supplied with electricity, a few channels with all my favourite shows only (like Star Trek, Friends, Sex In The City, Numbers, Survivor, etc). I have a telephone, but it only makes outgoing calls...and I have an excellent long distance plan. I have my computer and have internet access.

I have my favourite cat with me.

I have a boat, and twice a month I go to the mainland (which takes about an hour to reach) and buy groceries, see people, run errands, and pick up anything else I need.

I have enough money so that I don't have to work if I don't want to, but I bring in a small income through writing books, poetry and by getting paid to read.

I don't ask for much lol. This would be all I need.
